Dokkaebi

Since her childhood, Ji-hye has possessed the ability to see things that are beyond her comprehension - and even as an adult facing the challenges of office life, she remains on alert, uncertain of when danger may come her way. One day, after discovering her boyfriend of nine years being unfaithful and ending their relationship, she heads home. By chance, she meets a dokkaebi (Korean goblin) who has been searching for a mountain god. The dokkaebi presents her with a deal: assist him in locating the mountain god, and in exchange, he will restore her vision. Clinging to the hope of finally achieving the normal, everyday existence she has always desired, Ji-hye agrees to a contract with the dokkaebi. There are entities observing these two, whether from a distance or up close. What is the connection between the dokkaebi and the mountain god? And was Ji-hye’s meeting with the dokkaebi merely a matter of chance?
