Ban Village, an area in Hanyang without law, is inhabited by butchers who earn their livelihood by slaughtering cattle. It serves as a sanctuary for those wishing to flee from their past misdeeds. Su-yeon, whose family is confronted with severe accusations, finds herself in a dire predicament. Her attempt to escape leads her to wed a massive butcher from Ban Village, a man whose intimidating figure initially terrifies her. However, as time passes, she starts to recognize a gentler side to him, revealed through his surprising compassion.
